Welcome to Stepgates Badminton Club.
Stepgates is a well established, friendly and thriving badminton club, playing competitively in leagues around Surrey (Guildford, Woking) and Middlesex (Hounslow & Staines). We have ten regular league teams across a broad range of ability at ladies and mens level doubles and mixed doubles.
Membership is very affordable (currently £120 per year and £5 per match) and we have between 35 - 40 active members. We are very welcoming of new members who are keen to play both club and league badminton. We play on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 7.30 to 10.30pm. The school offers a modern sports hall with 4 courts, a viewing gallery, changing rooms and showers. Our club is very easy to reach, at Sir William Perkins's Independent Girls School, Guildford Road , Chertsey, Surrey KT16 9BN . (Click for map).
Our badminton club season runs from the first Tuesday in September until the public examinations in May. We also have a summer season on Tuesdays throughout July and August which is open to members of other local clubs.
